Ron is looking for working party to go up to the bothy on Saturday 20th September to drag some fallen wood across to use for stove. Please let him know if you are available that day.

Car assisted run 5/10/2008

 

Any one interested in a car assisted run on Sunday 5th October 2008 ?

Probably park at Aberfeldy and choose a route around Glen Lyon.

Please let Dave Husband know if willing to take / share car.

Melrose weekend

 

17th-18th-19th October 2008. This will be the same format as previous weekends. 22 members have booked and the estimated cost will be £36 per head. Please bring either cash or cheque to the hostel. It is planned to do the 4 Abbeys route on Saturday and a shorter route on Sunday for anyone not cycling home.

AGM  Sunday 26th October 2008

 

The AGM will take place in the Club Rooms on Sunday 26th October 2008 at 14:30

There will be an impromptu run before the meeting leaving at 9am.

CTC Mince Pie Run

 

Pat and Ron Harrow have kindly offered to host the CTC “Mince Pie Run “ this year

Taking place on the 21st December 2008. There will be a short run before hand leaving from the club rooms at 10am.

New year Bothy Weekend

 

Camping weekend at bothy to celebrate new year.

Saturday 3/1/2009 – Sunday 4/1/2009. Stay overnight or just come on the Sunday if preferred

Christmas Lunch

 

Sunday 18th January 2009

It is intended to arrange the Christmas Lunch at Roundyhill as usual. There will be a pre-lunch run organised for the morning.

Spinning Classes

 

Ron is to make enquiries at the Leisure centre to see if  a club booking for spinning classes can be arranged depending on interest from club members.

 

Audax Events this Year

 

There have been 6 Audax Events organised by Angus CC members so far this year, and the attendances have been encouraging.

Proposed Audax Events next year

 

It has been proposed that we run an Angus CC/ Audax /CTC weekend of events next year based in Forfar, bringing various existing events together.
